Now that Netflix runs natively on the Wii (as in doesn't require a PC acting as a proxy encoder), maybe Netflix and Hulu could merge together to make a more formidible media company to convince the entertainment industry of the inevitabiliy of Internet Telivision overtaking traditional television.

We are definetly using Netflix on a near daily basis for online streaming now that we can watch anything they offer through the Wii on our Television set.

Hulu is the entertainment industry - at least part of it anyway. It's owned by NBC, ABC, and Fox.

But you're right. Instead of fighting to keep Hulu off of TV connected devices, they should be embracing it.
