    Wii Classic Controller Questions

    Do i need to get a Wii Classic Controller in order to play games i get from the wii shop, such as supermario 64 or can I use my gamecube controller?

    You can use a GCN Controller i suppose, You are SUPPOSED TO BE ABLE TO.
    But you can use classic controllers on it

    WiiOwner since June 2007. SSBB Fan Forever.

    Your should be able to use the GCN Controller. According to Wii.Nintendo.com it'll work with all platform games but Genesis, they have that listed as undetermined. So you might want to get a classic controller just in case.

    i bought mario64 on the VC and when you do it says that eather the GC controller or Classic controller will work but you get best results with the classic controller. im not sure which is better because all ive used is the GC controller
