I wish we could download demos.

Why aren't demos available at the wii shop. Ps3 and 360 both offer downloadable demos. Why can't the wii? Hopefully nintendo will reveal something at e3.

It's mainly a storage issue. Even with the improved SD card storage, the data still must be transferred to the Wii's internal 512MB storage to run. This is still pretty small for full game demos.

They've tried to come part way with the Nintendo Channel - showing videos of new games.

    Because Nintendont like demos.
Interestingly enough, Nintendo is the only company so far that actually has offered a small demo to download though. You can get a demo of the WiiWare Dr. Mario game, but even that is overly complicated since you have to have someone who owns the game send you the demo.

Also DS game demos can be downloaded from the Nintendo Channel.

So I wouldn't say that Nintendo hates demos, it's just that the Wii isn't very suited to be able to handle that sort of thing easily.
