    I just read something that you tried to play a game which wasn't of the same region as your Wii. This game updated your Wii with the wrong firmware or something. They said the solution was to wait for a firmware upgrade which would hopefully revert the bad one.

    Yeah, that's what it sounds like. And this is something that can only happen on Wii's that have a mod chip installed.
