my wii memory is full, my sd card is completely full of downloaded rock band songs. i want more downloadable songs. i guess this means i have to buy another sd card and will never be able to play all rock band dlc on quickplay, have to keep changing sd cards for newer dlc? and also, rock band 2 was made before the sdhz or whatever it is card, so that is incompatible. is this all correct? because if it is, i am very unhappy

Question please...Is there a limitation to the size of external USB drive that can be attached to my Nintendo Wii box? I'm looking at a WD Elements 500GB USB 2.0 Desktop External Hard Drive...this one:

    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16822136466

My objective is to download any and all Guitar Hero/Band Hero songs; I have the latest firmware updated on my Wii box.

    Thanks for any advice!!

Start a new post next time as attaching to a year old one may cause others to overlook it.

The Wii does not support external hard drives. SD/SDHC only.

Wilco...Didn't even think about the age of the post. Well DRAT! I was hoping to sling that 500 GB drive on there.

If you google USB hard drive for Wii or similar, you will find that it is common to have a USB drive attached.
I have a 500GB drive that works fine.
I know this post was old but as a previous poster I noticed your question.
