Doom 95 for Wii ???

Hi. I love Doom. Are there any similar First Person Shooter games for Wii? Thanks. Chris, 44. Also, is there a catalouge of Wii games somewhere, with descriptions?

There is no Doom game for the wii that i know of. Try going to the wiishop channel, click on virtual console, and look up shooters. That seems like your best bet.

On the other hand there is a homebrew version of it

Other than that theres a official port of it on Xbox Live Arcade that has online multi player

I think I read somewhere that ID is making a new Doom game, and this one is apparently coming out for the wii also.

Its been in development for a while.
DOOM 3 is just not the same game

Yeah i know Doom 4 should be also for wii, i played doom 3 on PC i didn't care for that one.

There is no way it could be for the Wii, since id is all about graphics, the thing the Wii exactly isn't about.

Unfortunately YoungLad is right. I've been following Id closely for news on DOOM 4 for a while. After reading a few interviews, only 2 things are certain, DOOM 4 isn't a sequel or retelling of DOOM 3, and Id has 0% interest in the Wii. They even said in one interview the Wii, "Just isn't for us."
