    CAn you talk to each other over wifi?

    say if i was playing tennis on wii sports with my friends ( on the internet) can i talk to him . ethier by text which would be a bit hard or by mic which would be good. like Xbox live?

    No you can't do either - play tennis against an on-line opponent or talk to anybody via VoIP........ at the moment

    Voice Over Internet Protocol, just basically voice chatting over the internet. Wi-Fi isn't gonna be available until early 2007 either.

    Yes, and no games are out that have online multiplayer, but the wii is has functioning WiFi.
