    wii fit keeps turning itself off!

    hi all,
    i borrowed a friend's balance board and it keeps turning itself off after a few seconds of standing on it. do you think this means it must be faulty as it seems ok when not being stood on ? it's synchronised and does work, but the power button doesnt seem to stay on ?? any help / advice most appreciated!
