MTV: Reggie Interview

I could have sworn I seen a thread somewhere around here about MTV and Reggies Interview, I must be imagining it because I nor search can find it (unless thread author didn't add in tags).

Anyways, I apologize if the thread was indeed here, and whatnot.

I'm sure many have seen this interview already and it has been talked about already. IGN: Reggie Kicks Ass and Takes Interviews

Anyways the key part of the interview I want to express is this.

Fils-Aime also confirmed that WiiConnect24 would be delivering surprise bonus material to gamers much sooner than anyone had anticipated. "I'd hate to ruin the surprise. Is there activity that we're working on for before the holidays? The answer is yes."

Hmm, any ideas of what it could be? Maybe a free game for xmas? haha.

Also I would like to point out something else for those who still believe there is going to be a DVD-playback version coming to the US.

He also shot down concerns over a sort of Wii 2.0 launching next year with built in DVD playback. When asked if there was a DVD playback-enabled Wii coming to North America next year, Reggie said that "the answer is no."

Guess that settles it. Apparently Japan is the only country getting that.
