    I use nickel cadium duracell rechargables but I imagine energizers are just as good, alkaline might be a smidge better but I have no complaints.

    You can buy the specially made rechargeable battery packs made for the wiimotes! They're pretty nice. I think i have nyko or something like that.

    Rechargeable batteries > battery packs IMO. Better to have reliable batteries that work for anything than a possibly faulty battery pack that only works for the Wiimote.
