Batteries ???

I seem to recall reading somewhere about batteries for the wimote etc. Is it ok to use rechargebale batteries in these units. I note that in the manual it states that only lithium should be used and not Nimh batteries...hey this is going to get expensive as i have bought some good rechargebale ones just for that reason..can you advise please

Yes it is fine ive used rechargeable batteries and nothing wrong they put they in there because rechargeable batteries are more prone to leaking or something like that btw if you used the search function you would have found many threads relating to this question.

Well I use Uniross NiCad rechargables, while they are n't as good as Nimh they are a little cheaper and I believe are okay to use in the remote. Personally I don't think there's a reason for not using Nimh as they are pretty much the same as NiCad, but they do not contain the toxic Cadmium. Someone else might be able to give you a technical opinion.
