    also, try synchronozing the remote to the console (in other words, take off the battery cover on the remote, push the red button, and in the SD card slot on the Wii, push the button there)

    that should work if that's what you're having trouble with. :E

    I as well use two gamecube controllers. . .Wavebirds to be exact. Works without a problem.

    i use a wavebird controller and a black gamecube controller with a classic controller as 1st player.
