I'm a little slow on Wii games news. But at E3, in Red Steel, the sword had pre-set moves to it. Did they change it to free movement in the sword, or do they expect to keep it with the preset moves?![]()
Thanks

That still hasn't been decided yet, but I'm pretty sure they will go with free movement to heighten the Wii's capabilities with it.

Hm...I would think for them to add a switchable option in the game, for those who dont know how to use a sword![]()
its preset kinda, its not like you tilt it to the left a little it tilts to the left, depending on where you slice it goes there, their still working out stuff to make it so theres an unnoticable delay from your swing to the game swing

Yeah, I know all that, I went to E3 and played Red Steel (Unbelivabley amazing) and it had the preset moves, I was just wondering if they plan on keeping it that way, or making it free movement.
from wot iv heard they found the free movement too difficult to do as it was more complicated so they decided to go with a more pre-set orriantated option.
As to whether they will stick with it, considering the wii launch is mere months away and it is a wii launch title i dont think they will personally, but i like the idea of having the option

i think that they will have both but preset will be recommened unless you have been in sword traing for many years
