slow and lazy army in CoD3?

something is wrong with my cod3 game or i never noticed it before. i started a new file on normal after beating the game on easy, and while running on a battlefield, my guy would randomly stop running and walk very slowly instead. im pressing the controlstick all the way over and nothing is wrong with the wiimote or nunchuk. any ideas?

Instead of holding it sideways hold it straight that should fix it
