To sell so many units, the games have been disappointing so far. I know they will get better (I hope). You would think there would be better games since they have sold so many systems.

Yeah but the point is the Wii is designed to sell for a profit where the PS3 sells for the loss meaning bad times for Sony.

I would like to hope that this trend continues, but I think once Metal Gear Solid and Grand Theft Auto 4 are released, and when the PS3 prices drop significantly, this trend will die. Unless, of course, the price of the Wii drops, and if the Wii continues to release totally awesome games.

Lol. PS3 is a good price for what your getting, Plus Sony has never been popular is Japan, While Nintendo are a Japanese company, I'd much rather prefer to see the US Figures

I know a few people who bought the PS3 with no interest in games. They just wanted a cheap blue ray player!

Edit: I just realized this the OP was about Japan. The Wii outsold the PS3 in the USA 4:1 in April

all i ever have to say is "look at the numbers"
