Metroid Prime 3: I'm stuck and desperately need your help

Thanks for willing to help me,

I'm early in the game, in Bryyo and I killed the boss now it is telling me to destroy Eastern Energy Signature. However, when I go to the spot where you would destroy Eastern Energy Signature which is "Bryyo Fire" there if a force field wall in my way and I scanned my hand on the computer there but nothing happened. It feels as if I missed something earlier so I'm having trouble now.

Any help is appreciated.

You need to have the missles for your ship, once you have them you need to go to the Ship visor, hold - then goto bottom right, and scan the icon so the ship will blast the generator.

Yeah, you simply have to go back to Norion I think and upgrade your ship to get the missiles.
