Connection Speed - Online Games

With regards to playing online games on the wii, does the connection speed of your isp matter, or does everyone run on the same speed?

On strikers, The only Online game I've played. I think the internet connections of both people are put together to make a /4 star rating on connection.
Due to my connection I usually get 4/4 on connection with others.
You'll be fine, Most people do have good connections.

To answer your question: Yes it does but it isn't a major problem

Well as said above it just depends on how well other peoples connections are. I always play Strikers on 4 star and get no lag, never had any problems with Fifa either.

Was just thinking back to playing CSS on the pc and with not a very fast connection speed and slow refresh rate i was constantly being slaughter by players i couldnt even see.
