I think Scarface is better, but that might be just because I like Scarface.

Both are worth Wii 3rd party games.

I always had a hard time staying focused on those GTA type games. I regret spending $50 bucks on it for sure. But that's just me.

I found the controls for Godfather WAY better than Scarface, and there is just something cooler about the gangster/mobster setting of Godfather, as opposed to the whole Miami scene.
The hand to hand combat in Godfather works really well, and adds to the game so much. Its a great way of showing how Wii can be used for adult games and create such an immersive experience over other consoles.
