Emulators wont save on GC cards

All the emulators i am running have the save feature but when i go to save it says it cannot find card in slot A or B.

But, ill go play a gamecube game and i can save till the cows come home.

any ideas?

so ur saying ur trying to save a game from a gc emulator to a gc mem card so u can play the game save on a game cube? be more descriptive
