    You actually had no knowledge of it being delayed, it was simply you were hoping for it too be delayed to include voice chat and etc. That was before all the rumors started popping up of a delay, and when they were true it was confirmed well after your thread. You simply got lucky, you never really called the delay nor gave a new release date.
