Midway plans big for TNA Impact!

While promoting the impending release of Midway's TNA Impact! game, wrestling star Kurt Angle told us that work on a sequel is already in progress.

Speaking on whether he enjoyed working on the game, he said that he didn't participate in its development as much as he'd hoped for, and then added, "Next year, I'm gonna have a lot more involvement."

Sounds like a confirmation to us, but we'll wait until we see how well the first game does until we'll bet money on it.

TNA Impact! is the first game to be developed for the popular TNA wrestling promotion, and will be released sometime in spring 2008.

This game was actually looking decent.
Much more so than Smackdown vs. Raw 2008 was. Hopefully the TNA one has some good game modes though.

    Heh,

My cheers will be in the first TNA video game!

I was in Orlando, Florida at Universal Studios and they let us in the TNA studios for free.

They spent about ten minutes asking the audience to chant TNA, and do boos and stuff. Way cool.

Sigh, that's probably going to be my only claim to fame though.
