So Nintendo can look at it like big tobbaco looks at their marketing to kids....as sick as it is....they do it. They are priming the next generation to consume their product. And they are getting all those people who usually are not that into games into them. So now that group is hooked on gaming, they understand what we have known all this time...How much fun gaming can be. So now when they are ready for "Wii2" .....around 2012 you suggested?.....Nintendo will likely have that license to put out a more graphically powerful system. And all those people who wouldn't have gotten into video games without the ease and availability of the Wii are now going to want to dish out a few extra bones for the system.
Because they know how awesome a system Nintendo can make even though they came in as the underdog in the war.
