[QUOTE=Mingus]Zelda + Future = Trying to hard and a bad game.
What we need is a new foe. I say that it begins with Ganondorf with his usual attempt but all of the sudden some new foe appears. This enemy should be of far greater power and threat to Link. And then whatever they want to do after that. Like Ganondorf would be forced to join forces with link.
Agreed. I wouldn't like to see Zelda in some Mass Effect-Star Wars type world. Now I didn't say I wouldn't want a futuristic Zelda. I'd like more of a Final Fantasy Zelda. Futuristic but still Rustic. I would love to see Zelda get deeper as an RPG, I mean, really find it's custom side.
You know, it's been almost ten years since I last played a Pokemon game but if it went online that would be great. I always wished that the game would grow with me and mature. I wished the characters became mature and the pokemon became a little more preditorial or..practical. Maybe something like Monster Hunter...which I have yet to play, is it any good?
As my information goes, I thought that the Future Zelda game was an April Fools Joke.
Here's a link to the video I watched.

I agree take Zelda back to the Link to the Past roots and give the franchise multiple Foes.
That's pretty imaginative. Obviously a great deal of thought went into the OP. A Pokemon MMO might give those of us who haven't played since the 2nd-gen a good reason to pick it back up. I would love to see some realtime combat in a Pokemon game.
Link in a futuristic setting doesn't really gel. It's almost corny. Link, with trusty R2 unit to aid him and lightsaber in hand, learns that Ganondorf (who is now encased in a life-supporting cybersuit) is actually his father. Oh, almost forgot. Zelda is his sister, and Saria randomly appears as a blue spectre to give Link encouragement.
