    Yes, I like having that.

I want games to challenge me from the gameplay, not the faulty controls.
And if you call EVERY shooter on the Wii "easier" because it uses a correct control scheme, then you sir, have major issues and think light gun games are easy play.
There's nothing wrong with the controls on the Gamecube version. If there were then you would have seen people criticizing it in reviews and no one complained. Also RE5 is coming to the 360 and PS3 and I don't see anyone crying about it not having a light gun. You probably just suck at using analog.

Btw, Light guns are easy to use... Anyone who finds light guns hard to use have some kind of serious stress problems and can't keep themselves from shaking.

I'd buy it since I don't own any other console other than a Wii. I don't really think the controller scheme would be any different (or far off) from Scarface but it'd be interesting to see the differences.

Other than that, I'm a GTA fan so I'd buy it just because it's a game I'm used to loving, regardless of the console.
    With much love, 261311.

Sorry about that, then your post was pointless. I said that people need to stop assuming the Wii is for children, and then I talked about the fact that Nintendo said the average Wii owner was 29. You said something about the average age in Japan, and the last time I checked, I don't live in Japan.

Nintendo said that the average age of a Wii owner was 29, they didn't say that was the average age of a Wii owner in Japan. (at least not that I'm aware of)

The entire point is that people need to stop assuming the Wii is owned by children, because "the average age of a Wii owner is 29", as stated by Nintendo in December 2007. If the average age is 29, then a Wii version of GTA is a no-brainer, because these Wii owners are the same ones who were constantly playing GTA on PS2 in college, and would probably love playing more of it on their current Wii systems.

I strongly doubt the average owner is 29. First of all when you average numbers they don't tend to be accurate, especially when you are talking about age and using one number.

If you have 10 owners aged 9 and and 10 owners aged 49 then the average would be 29. Which would be way off...

Also it is possible that the average person who purchases a Wii is around the age of 29, but that doesn't make them the real people who use it. Of the millions of kids who own a console, how many do you think actually buy it themselves?

Even if the average age owner/user was actually around 29, im willing to bet that the majority of those people are casual gamers. This can be shown by the sales charts. What games are selling well? Trash party games and games that are targeted at kids. Mario & Sonic is a game that appeals to both casual gamers who like to occasionally play a party game and kids.

and honestly, I have NEVER seen anyone from the age of 16-24 buying a game for themselves. But I have seen plenty of kids come into the stores with their parents buying a game. Oh and I also seen a girl, probably around 20 who said she was buying the Wii for her little brother.

Oh wait, besides me of course Im some other people bought SSBB for themselves, but I pre-ordered mine at Circuit City and it was basically in and out so I didn't see anyone else.

I buy all of my games and movies minus maybe the 10 total I get each year (out of about 50) that I get for Christmas.

    I'm nitpicking with my griping.

Its easy to already be pre-aimed and shoot instead of wasting a second or two moving the analog stick, never mind that the stupid thing is wayyy too tiny to be properly used for a shooter.

Capcom used to the Gamecube for two reasons for RE4:
    1.) It's Japanese appeal
    2.) It's graphical horsepower

"But zomg wait, what about the exclusives?!"
Yeah. About those. One got canned, PN03 was nothing special, and the other three went to PS2.

I far from suck using at analog. You, sir, suck at life however.

1.) The average age of a gamer is THIRTY THREE.
You'd be far, far, far surprised as to who plays games casually and who doesn't.

The general public and media like to fix things in their favor.
Something happens to a good number of Wii owners after they play: they get addicted.

Liking video games is all about finding someone's weak spot to turn them on to it.
Not everyone is going to be "GUN HOOO, HALO!!!1!"

Some people want the amazing stuff Altus puts out.
Some people want the Square-Enix Kool-Aid.
Some people want the flippin' Tamagotchis.

It's a lot like Pokemon. On the surface, it says on thing.
But look deeper, there's a lot more too it.

    But you can't comprehend that.
    Because you're an idiot.

2.) You probably live in Greenland then. I have seen PLENTY of people between 16-24 buying a game for themselves. You seriously have to be kidding me if you've NEVER seen them.

Let's see, where should I begin with that..

How about my roommates, who are all 19?
    My girlfriend, who's also 19.
    Her roommate, who's 18.
    Her boyfriend, who's also 18.
The group I camped out for the Wii with, who are all 19-24.
My co-workers from gamestop, who ranged from 18-45
Two of my managers at the bloody bank who are in their late 20s.

You know dood, when they say 29, they probably mean the people who buy it. Most 29 year olds buy it for their kids, not for themselves. 29 year olds have more important stuff like booze and porno.

Oh yeah, T3kNi9e, JAVIER BARDEM FTW
