Rock Band 2 online question

If I'm playing RB2 online with you, and I have a microphone, can you hear me talking between songs? I can't hear anybody else, but they are playing instruments (not singing into the mic) so I wasn't sure...

Nope, the person you are playing with cannot hear you, and when you are playing with someone else singing at another home, you will not be able to hear them.

Thank you, that does help. I had previously only played online via Xbox, where everybody can hear each other. I thought I better watch my language, in case I was playing with a kid!
