I'm better playing with my Wii, waiting when Nintendo launches the Netfix service to see great movies on my HDTV using my Wii.
Of course I'd expect you to post here of all places. Also, I'll never get over how hilarious the console name is in that bolded sentence.

You obviously haven't watched a Blu-Ray movie on a HDTV via HDMI at 1080p.

PS3 games are on blu-ray discs too. What else were you hoping they would do with blu-ray?

Keep waiting. Microsoft recently announced that the Netflix deal on game consoles was exclusive to the 360. I'm sure there's probably some sort of time limit for the exclusivity, but it could be awhile...

Lol, Nintendo will obviously not make a Wii HD. I doubt they even feel threatened to be honest. When it comes to comparing the PS3 Slim to the Wii, it's no competition, lol. I was going to buy a Wii, but once I heard news of a PS3 slim, I changed my mind quickly.

Firstly halo 3 was bad (IMO)

LEft 4 dead is FANTASTIC one of my top 10 games EVER

but still theres plenty of more exclusive and amazing Xbox 360 games that you should branch out and try

    lost odyssey
    blue dragon
Gears of war 2 (i didnt like 1)
a friend of mine has a 360 so when i go to his place i play his. i've played the other games you listed and didn't like them(absolutely hated Gears 2, i'm one of the few that likes 1 more. though the both still suck). the only 360 exclusives i liked are the Halo series and L4D. i know some say Halo sucks but thats thier opinion. in my opinion Halo is a great game. also i said Halo series, if i could i'd get Wars as well.

The only 360 RPG worth playing is Tales of Vesperia, and that's being improved on the PS3. Granted Star Ocean 4 is awesome, but you need to be a real Sci-fi and Fantasy nerd to get into it. I love Halo for the Sci-Fi (guilty pleasure). I'm not the biggest L4D fan, narrow halls + hoards of undead + noobs = BAD, Not fun, shut off the 360. Lost Odyssey was good, but kind of standard feeling. Blue Dragon was a neutral, a good, but standard RPG fest.

Halo Wars is way too simple, StarCraft forever!

Gears 2... the online doesn't work...

Look at the size difference between what the Xbox360 uses and what the PS3 uses, Blue Ray can hold a lot more "game" content then what Xbox360 has available. Yet Sony never really utilizes the size difference, mostly because that would require a game that belongs to the PS3 only.

How many games do you see that are multi platform games? When hit games come out that are multi platform it really does limit the PS3 potential, you think Microsoft would let Sony add in a bunch of content into their games? No, they want the games to be equal for the most part content wise.

Which is why Sony needs to come up with more Intellectual Properties that are PS3 exclusive only, the hardest part is probably trying to make the IP something that people "must" have.

So to answer your question "What else were you hoping they would do with blu-ray?" I want them to actually make a game that utilizes the full Blue Ray potential, that way people will stop assuming the Blue Ray feature is for "movies" only.

Oh here's to my sweet satan. The one who's little path would make me sad, who's power is Satan. He'll give you, give you 666. There was a little toolshed where he made us suffer, sad Satan.

Yes, I do dozens of times. I have the upscaler DVD in my bedroom configured at 1080p output resolution via HDMI Monster cable.

The Blu-ray is a Samsung brand and is in my Father's bedroom with 1080p resolution and a Monster cable HDMI.

I compared the Casino Royale Blu-ray and the Special widescreen edition on DVD. And I note a slightly difference apart the Blu-ray extended features.
Soon I will show you some screens comparing both.
