Wii Getting Attacked By Movies In 3D

According to wii.nintendolife, the wii might get some 3D treatment i think.

    WOAH. DUDE.

You know, the kind with glasses
Ever seen a movie in 3D and wished you could shoot the crap out of everything on screen?

Developed for Wii by Panic Button Games and published by Majesco, Attack of the Movies 3D wants to put you right in the thick of the action of your favorite types of movies. Want to shoot aliens? Boom! Fight the machine army? Ka-pow! Battle underwater critters? Torped-ouch!

It even comes with four sets of 3D glasses so you and three other people can play and wave your hands in front of you, futilely trying to grab what we all know isn't there.

Without screens it's tough to judge exactly what type of shooter this is, but our Batman-rivaling powers of deduction peg it as on-rails. Expect to see the game on European shelves sometime this summer. Want to see the press release? Bam! Down there.
MAJESCO ENTERTAINMENT ANNOUNCES 'ATTACK OF THE MOVIES 3D' FOR Wii™

Re-live the Greatest Action Movies of All Time in the First 3D Shooter for Wii™

BRISTOL, UK. The greatest action scenes in cinematic history come to life as Majesco Entertainment Company (NASDAQ: COOL), an innovative provider of video games for the mass market, today announced Attack of the Movies 3D. The first-ever 3D shooter designed exclusively for Wii™, Attack of the Movies 3D transports players to six fantastic movie-themed worlds where they will battle large alien space cruisers, shoot underwater monsters, join the resistance against the machines and more. Packaged with four pairs of 3D glasses to support four-player multiplayer action, and featuring classic enemies culled from the annals of film history, this inspired 3D shooter jumps right out of your television and into your living room.
“We all dream about being the hero in our favourite action movies,” said Gui Karyo, Executive Vice President of Operations for Majesco. “Attack of the Movies 3D lets you live that experience out with a realism and dimensionality previously only found in movie theaters.”

In Attack of the Movies 3D, players become an integral part of movie scenes they can typically only watch. Each scene features genre-based ultimate weapons to engage enemies, including zombie-slaying shotguns, automatic laser cannons and more. In addition, branching paths, changing enemy attack patterns, unique areas and environmental challenges ensure that players never experience the same fight twice.

Developed by Panic Button Games Inc., Attack of the Movies 3D is expected to be released in Europe during summer 2010. For additional information about Majesco’s exciting line of products, please visit www.majescoeurope.com or www.majescoentertainment.com.

Toy Story Mania has some 3D (with glasses) and has been out for awhile already for the Wii.
