Any word on Metroid Prime 3 being Online

    Anything?

This game reminds me of Halo so, why not take down Halo 3 with MP3?

MP3 online or not won't stand up to halo 3. Band geeks around the world will make sure of this.

    Why not?

The games seem very similar and both have been executed profesionaly for years

Maybe beating Halo is to much but I'm sure it could compete

I'd hardly consider Halo 1 and 2 different generations of online play.

If time was taken and they did a good job, I could see a fight being put up against Halo 3. I mean come on, we have had Metroid longer

To be honest, IMO Metroid is a far better game franchise than Halo will ever be, but like alot of people have said, Halo has the online advantage. But If Ninty really pull out all the stops on this one, we could all have a little gem on our hands. VoIP (Voice Chat) would seal the deal for me personally.

How exactly would Metroid be able to be online? I've never played Halo, so I don't know how that game works, but it seems to me that if you're playing a one player game, it wouldn't make any sense to put it online becuase it's only you playing the game.
PM me if you want a link to a place that's good.

    um....
when you're offline it's just you beating the story mode..

But with a good bit of work you can connect online and battle other real players...

    Never heard of online gaming?
