    Wiimote and gamecube games

    I was wondering if the gamecube games will work with the wiimote? I have tried but had no luck. Is there some secret to it? I also tried the old school wiimote. Any help is appreciated. Thanks

    Uhhh... no. Only the Gamecube controller will work with Gamecube games.

    i think this is wrong. i think nintendo should have made the classic controller work with gamecube games.

    its not fair that people should fork out for a wii then have to buy a classic controller for vc games then have to fork money out again for a gc controller for gc games.

    the classic controller should have had firmware available in it to detect the gamecube mode the wii goes to.
