while you wait for your wireless bar in the mail, i've heard rumors that two lit candles work just as good.

Just put some Christmas lights around your TV....festive AND effective!!! (btw...I actually did use the Christmas lights on our tree this weekend so I didn't have to turn them off...it worked just as good as the sensor bar )

original poster replies (projector owners wiiker gaming experience)

    1) The Nintendo manual seems to believe the games work best with the sensor bar atop the tv, which is impossible when using a wall which being my screen I don't want to stick anything into.

    2) There are nearly 40 feet between my screen and the lounge area where people playing would sit, the projector being yet behind them. I am serious not bragging, only asking for help. I imagine someone who tries to incorporate a Wii into a public place will run into similar difficulties likewise the Paul Allens, etc.

    3) It seems a wireless sensor bar may work. But in my brief research there seems room for someone to make a very high quality one still which not only serves as a generic Nintendo replacement but exceeds its precision, the loss of which I am most concerned about & hence my bro still is likely getting a bonus present. For his sake, don't help me Nintendo lol.

Thanks guys for the helpful and also not so helpful but witty posts.

I just remembered, I heard you clip the wires and attach a 9volt battery to your sensor bar. Since the wire is only used for power.
