    Even if you could switch the graphics card, the games would have to be re-written to take advantage of it.

    Yes you can, buy a 600 dollars graphics card, and get your wii to a store, and tell them to put the graphics card into the wii, that would cost you 400 dollars, and then, you can see Zelda: TP with Gears of War graphics.
