component cables, HDTV and surround sound receiver

I'm looking for a Component cable that will allow me to take advantage of both my HDTV and my surround sound receiver. Every cable I've looked at has everything combined; I'd like cables that are split. My TV is about 4 feet away from my receiver. I'd like to be able to plug the Video components into my TV and the Audio components into my receiver. Does anyone have a solution to this problem? Could someone recommend a brand of cable that will solve this problem.
    Thanks for your assistance

nope. the next best thing to dolby digital 5.1 is dolby prologicII. see if your reciever supports that. ALSO get couplers, and RCA extension cables since your TV and receiver are far apart.

    i bought these yesterday.

Does your TV have Audio outputs?

Mine has some to connect an external amp, so I plugged the Wii into the TV (in my case with RGB Scart which carries audio as well) and then took a twin phono from the TV's audio out into my AV amp

just go to radioshack and pick up some RCA Plug to RCA Jack extension cables.

you can get the fancy-shamncy expensive gold plated ones:

or the cheaper standard radioshack brand:
