You definitely DO NOT want to move! They are only a few exceptions when anything cool reaches Europe before the rest of the world. But that's not even the sad part. Take for example Wii points. In the US, you get 10 points per dollar? Here, assuming you're lucky enough to get 10 points per Euro, that's already a 30% price increase.
