    Wii Browser GPU versus CPU

Is there a way to offload the CPU and
use the GPU of the Nintendo Wii to help with the
performance of a video heavy webpage?

    Any response would be appreciated.

    Thanks.

You mean run a little less data through the CPU and main RAM and a little more data through the graphics processor and RAM.
I doubt it. Can you even do that with a computer?

Doubt you can do it with a Wii, but offloading GUI functions to the GPU is nothing new - Apple has been doing it for years with OS X and QuartzExtreme:

    Wii Browser CPU versus CPU

    Appreciate the responses!

I guess using the GPU is possible wherever the OpenGL software
architecture is employed and apparently Wii does'nt support OpenGL (?)

    Thanks.
