Asian Console in Canada

I am stuck in the same situation. Just come here to search for solutions. I am not interested in modding but would love to be able to play US/Canada games on my Japanese console. Found the Freeloader mentioned in another thread http://www.play-asia.com/paOS-13-71-...n-70-1ssh.html
. Can someone confirm it will allow my Jap console to play US/Canada games?
