I take my own words back. I am the person who reported that specific usb adapter working on nintendo's discussion board.

It seems like that Nintendo didn't even go through the trouble of taking a new USB ID. They just pick one company that makes the thing and use the existing number.

Don't buy it from the page you refered to. It is clearly over priced. It is $12.99 from fry's. And one week ago I found someone on ebay selling it for $5. If you really want one that will work and don't care about paying extra, I'll sell you mine for $30 including shipping.

So, if i am reading your post right you say that one doesn't work. And it seems like you know one that will. What one or brand do you suggest?

Thing is i have wired already and i don't want to spend $40-60 on a router when my Wii is like 10 ft from my computer. And i bought a wireless router for $30 and it didn't make it 10 ft from my computer.

Thats how mine was, and i play IRO and i bet you know how it feels when you are doing something very very important and it suddenly disconnects. And i don't want that for my Wii so, i need to find a working USB Lan adapter.

The Airlink one works. (Just a matter of how much you want to pay.)
The original Kinamax works too. (People reported that the ones bough recently have different designs and won't work.)

Any USB adapter that has VID=0B95 and PID=7720 will work.

Alright, thanks for the help. I'm probably going to buy an Airlink one because its only a little bit of cash.
