I know those wires cuz I had an N64, but there is no where I can plug into my laptop.

Isn't there some sort of a converter?

Also, a different issue....some TVs have only yellow and white sockets. How's the sound without the red input?

I never heard of a converter for a laptop. But the sound quality of only one audio wire it sounds distorted but I guess u make due with what u got.
I will show u that Pokemon don't have to be maxed out by cheating to kick some ass. I will be a legend. A Pokemon Legend.

I don't have a good TV. The TV don't have the socket for the red cable. I just moved to Japan and I don't plan on staying in Japan for a long time, so I don't want to buy a TV.

Which brings me to another question. I have USB laptop speakers. Do you know if I can use them with the wii since the TV don't have the red socket.

Supposedly this gambridge allows your to play console games on a laptop, but the reviews aren't that great. Sounds like its hard to use too. It's on sale and the price cheap though so you might want to check it out.

There is a new product coming out called vBox that connect Wii directly to laptop/desktop via USB2.0.

    You could use this http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814144506

or most likely any other external TV tuner.

Tell me if u have any questions since I use one of these.

You don't need to plug in the red cable into the t.v.

Here is some information for the vBox.
    http://www.goldenshop.com.hk/AI-trad/wii/vbox.htm
Pricing info is not available yet but it should hit the market very soon. There are links for online video in the webpage to show the vBox in action. I found it on divineo for $60. I think the picture quality using vBox should be better than using analog composite video output and then capture back using external TV tuner. It is a bit pricy though.
