    1) Is the USB port of any use besides connecting to the net?

    2) Does the Wii work in HD?

    1) It will be soon enough [Keyboard, Mic]
    2) It does EDTV [Better quality to your Normal TV], Not actual HD though but close

    This is to add to the answers of the questions :
    1) In addition to the future hardware theres also wii remote chargers that use the usb ports to draw power directly from the wii (joytech wii remote charger)
