Right now my plugs go from my wii into the back of my Sony TV. The only sound I get is out of the TV. Is there a way to get sound out of the receiver that I have hooked up to my tv?

Hook the audio from the Wii to your receiver (the red and white plugs)
Then Yellow plug to tv? That is going to be some stretch between them.

Yeah but the three wires can be split just pull them apart thats why its not just one wire. but if thats still not long enough you can get extensions things from electronic stores mainly musicstores and Pcworld.
p.s i split mine to use it on my Hi Fi the sound is so much better in surround lol.

Since I am using a projector and the Wii is far from the screen, I am using a $10 FM transmitter to send sound to my audio system.
Thanks, works
