    Is it possible to play NTSC games on a PAL console?

    Hi,

    Bit of a techno-phobe so please bear with me. Bought a few Wii games while on holiday in the States and found that they don't work.

    Is there anything that I can do to make them go??

    i think you can mod your wii so it works but i have no idea how. (maybe?)
    you viod your warrenty though.

    have to wait for someone else. . .
    Wii games: Super Mario Galaxy, Metroid Prime 3, Resident Evil 4, Zelda TP, SSX: Blur, Excite Truck, The Godfather, and Mario Kart Wii
    PC games: Call of Duty 4, Halo 1, UT3, F.E.A.R., and The Orange Box.
    PS3 games: Ratchet and Clank F.T.O.D., Resistance 2, Wipeout HD, and MGS4.

    US Wii consoles are NTSC standard, so they will only play NTSC games. European Wii consoles are PAL standard, so they will only play PAL games. A Wii console from the US cannot play PAL games and vice versa.
    The only other option is to have the console modded, which I personally do not recommend.
