    TV can't see wii

    I have a modest Philips 26PF5521D - 26" Widescreen HD Ready LCD TV and have just bought a Wii and the TV just won't see it! I have tried composite, scart and component cables. The only one left to try is HDMI but I understand that you can't get these as the wii isn't a HD machine.

    According to the manufacturers handbook the TV supports 480p which I believe is the default output of the wii.

    Am I missing something??? Please help
