Well previous weekend I was at a game event and I was playing a wii next to another wii together with my friend
At some point ( when we went back to the title screen ) my wiimote fixed on the wii next to us. But there was a guy playing there so I got made player 2. I could press the home button ( because he was playing a singleplayer game ) to anoy him and he didnt even know about it :P Did this like 6 times and than went to another stand because we couldnt recalibrate the wiimote on our wii.
Tip of the day:
A big mistake a lot of you make is that wiiware games will be free.
Wiiware is just the same like the virtual console. Its different in that it offers new games instead of old console games.
I can think of some easy games ( Like tetris and some other in that direction ) that can be free but the majority will cost money.

Surely if there close to each other only 1 sensor bar would be required? seeing as its the motes that detect the bar not the bar detecting the remotes.

Correct. The only reason the sensor bar is plugged in at all is to power it.Originally Posted by Vigilantiast
However, depending on how many people there were, they could not all use their Wiimotes at once, as Bluetooth only has a small number of channels.

For The Love Of All That Is Holy, Sports Doesn't Use The Sensor Bar.
Then how does it work? I'm not being argumentative, I really just don't know. I'm curious to find out.Originally Posted by Brawny

Nahh, there's "accelerometers" in the wii remote. All they do is sense motion.
These are used exclusively in Sports. Don't let those people trick you into thinking boxing uses the sensor bar. Go check it out, play sports without the bar. Works just fine.
but to maneuver around the menu to get to wii sports, the sensor needs to be somewhat closed off in a section of its own or else the pointer will be flickering and jumping all over the place. the bluetooth is another story, as long as you hit the red sync button on the console, then on the wiimote you want to use with the console, your fine. they dont get mixed up if you do it one by one, console by console. think about it. it can be done(carnival cruise ships have multiple wii's in their game room)

but more than 7 remotes at a time?
And the Guitar Hero update allows THAT analog stick to be used. XD
And of course the classic controller.
