    Using a component to vga cable to connect wii to my monitor

    Hi, I couldnt really find any discussion on using a component to vga adapter to connect a wii to a computer monitor. Will this even work? I was thinking something along these lines,

    What I would do is then get 3 female to female adapters so i could connect the Wii component cables to the component to vga connector.

    I dont know i thought it might work, if it does do you think think that 480i games would display?

    Yea, I'm pretty sure it would work.

    I'm using a VGA box to do the same thing.

    The games definitely look better on my monitor than on my tvs.

    The only bad thing about is that it requires a usb plug for power. Which isn't bad really since the Wii has two on the back.
