    Noisy Wii

Hey, my dad over reacts whenever the light comes on when I get a message. He unplugs everything from it, then just puts it on the ground. Now the Wii makes a loud humming sound. Is there any way for an average person to fix this? It only makes the sound with a disk in, so it's the disk drive. Is there a possiblity that he put it upside down, and the disk fell off the spinny thing, and theres actually 2 disks in when I play? Thanks. Also, how do I open the Wii safely?

Opening the Wii safely is done by pressing the eject button.

Don't think theres two disks though, and noises tend to happen sometimes depending on the game. I wouldn't worry just yet, but if it keeps up you may want to call Nintendo and ask em' about it.

Thanks. I'll open it up and take a quick look at it tomorrow.
