Good wireless gamecube controller?

Hey guys... i'm looking to pick up a wireless gamecube controller for my wii for VC games and in case i ever grab any GC games, as i already have one classic controller. I was wanting to get the Wavebird since it's Nintendo's official wireless remote but being that it's discontinued, i can't seem to find it for a good price (the cheapest i saw was $55 off ebay).

Does anyone know of any other good wireless gamecube remotes? I'm usually not too fond of third party so I don't know if there are even any available. If not, I'm afraid i might have to settle with the nintendo wired gamecube remotes, but I feel like the wires are going to be too short.

If you want to stick to Nintendo's wired controller and length is an issue, I'm sure you can find an extension for it.

Yeah, if you shop around enough.. go to all gamestops, wal-marts, etc. in your area, you should be able to find one.
