    usb ports on wii

    what are the usb port for on the wii. can u like plug u hardrive or thumdrive into it for extra space?

    i don't think nintendo's released anything for em yet, but you can get unoffical stuf for it like, a usb fan:

    And i also saw this one guy had a usb mini powered humping dog, thats just a pc gadget though.
    I wonder if Nintendo plan on doing something with them, they must do surely?

    USB ports only support Wired LAN adapters and keyboards.
    Other accessories are cooling fans, remote chargers and some things that bling.

    I only use the the USB ports for a keyboard and Remote chargers.

    Yes, you can plug in keyboards to use in the internet channel.

    Also, I use mine to charge my phone and my ipod
