    dvds?

    jsut bought my children a wii for christmas and was trying to find out if they will play dvds or audio cds i heard something about having to purchase something to get it to do so does anyone know what that piece is please let me know thanks by the way i think this is the best gaming unit ever made

    A stock Wii cannot play DVDs or CDs. You can play MP3s through the Photo Channel and a few select Wii games (Excite Truck).
