Does the internet channel cost monthly payments like computers do?

I'm thinking about getting the Internet Channel, but not if it cost monthly payments. Does it, or doesn't it? Thanks so much for your help.

The Wii internet uses the same internet that your computer does. So no, you do not have to pay more. The only fee is to purchase the actual internet channel.

no... it uses your existing broadband internet via wireless AP (access point) or wired ethernet network cable.

if you use dial-up instead of cable, DSL, or roadrunner, then you'll need the USB WiFi Adapter (it makes your PC act as a wireless AP)
