Hey, this problem is common, but i still haven't found an answer..one day while i was playing ssbb(super smash bros brawl), and my game just shut tiself off saying there was "an error has occured" message. So i let it cool off for a day and i tried playing the next day and it still didn't work and none of my games even read anymore , that was a week ago, it still has the same problem today...so what's the deal??

Turned on wii, tv screen scrambled green and pink. Tried unplugging and restart. Same thing. Can hear the audio fine. Faulty cable?
Just swapped over to the component cable for my wii. Really impressed with the difference it made especially on Cod mw.
Problem is the component cable highlights the fact that the graphics card on my wii is on its way out.Different colour pixels appearing all over the screen. Ive done my research and its definitely the problem.
Just wondered if it can be repaired by a 3rd party(warranty expired)
or should I just bin it?
PS If I replace my Wii would I lose my ranking off CODmw or can it be saved some how to a memory card?
I have a Wii, and we're trying to play Wiifit plus which I got for Xmas, and it keeps coming up "unable to read disc". So I tried the other games, and I an getting the same report.
My Wii console is about a year and a half ago.
I am having trouble loading a new game and i am new at this chat on line thing. I have hacked my wii and i just downloaded my first game and it wont work. Looking for help.
I just had the same problem, i found the solution in another thread, and the following seems to work for most people: Unplug all chords, from the wii and the wall, you can leave the tv connection plugged into the tv end. Leave everything unplugged for 5 mins to overnight, i left mine unplugged for about 20 min. Plug everything back in...turn on your wii. Hopefully it works, mine did. I went mad looking for the receipt all day after trying different plugs, plugging and unplugging, finally i decided to search online and woohoo! that did the trick!!!
