Faulty Wii? Hardware issues?

Hi im new here.
Got a classic controller for my birthday and when i try to use it nothing happens. the wii remote freezes and none of the classic controller buttons do anything.
Im trying to play fifa 10

Just swapped over to the component cable for my wii. Really impressed with the difference it made especially on Cod mw.
Problem is the component cable highlights the fact that the graphics card on my wii is on its way out.Different colour pixels appearing all over the screen. Ive done my research and its definitely the problem.
Just wondered if it can be repaired by a 3rd party(warranty expired)
or should I just bin it?

PS If I replace my Wii would I lose my ranking off CODmw or can it be saved some how to a memory card?

Only hacking would help you there, otherwise, it's time to bin that old white trash. XD (sorry, im not as much of a wii fan anymore. :/)

I have a had my Wii for a few months and for the past couple of weeks it has shut off from over heating I think. Anybody else having this problem, or can anyone help me with this?

No, I do not have the same problem. But, ...

General advice: get a "cooler board", the kind they sell for laptops, and place your console horizontally on to it. Maybe that could fix it.

Okay, so I bought my wii about a year ago and I'm pretty sure I have the 512 mb memory like everywhere mentioned but now my girlfriend's sister also bought a wii now so I installed the internet channel and lucky day channel, also she's got about 5 to 10 gamesaves and her wii's full, the savegames are also not go big so if I compare it to my wii, I have about 600 blocks free and I've go:
Pokemon rumble
Street fighter II
Alex kid in dunno what
lucky day channel
Internet channel and about 8 savegames including Mw:R (big gamesave)

so I don't understand why her's is full and mine still has plenty of space

Oh No! My Wii is dead

It will turn on but niether of my Wiimotes will sync with it nor will it output any video. I have tried multiple video jacks on diferent devices and also tried a different power plug. The fan on the back does not spin, though I can not say I saw it spin when it was working. I dunno.

Worked fine yesterday night.

Now to start the journey of calling Nintendo.

Was playing a game, the battery got low so I disconnected the Wii mote and tried to connect second wiimote(its a NYKO) but it wouldn't even light up, changed batteries in both then both were out of sync. Tried to resync both, the Wii one just keeps flashing, and the NYKO one flashes but not all the LEDS flash and then it turns off like its supposed to but doesnt sync. I see a lot of you have had the same problems or similar ones but no real solution as to whay this happens or how to fix. I'm going to try to unplug console, for about ten to fifteen minutes and then try again

Plugged in Wii last night (after waiting 8 hrs in NYC cold). worked great, logged into my wireless access point and updated the firmware twice. played for a few hours. Turned the device off (went to standby, orange LED). Today, it stayed in standby mode and i could not recover from it. I turned off the power by holding down the power switch and LED went red. Hitting it again, it turned green, the screen shows absolutely nothing.

I've tried different inputs and 2 other TVs - the Wii turns on, DVD drive spins up, but the screen is completely black -

does anyone else have a similiar issue? There are no error codes reported;

yeah I got something like that but it just says An error has ocured press ejyct ,remove disk ,and turn off Wii system . I need HELP BECAUSE ...Icant play my new game Spectrobes origigns!!!!
